Sarah Swinnen

Sarah trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Receiving a summa cum laude MA in Conservation of Fine Art, specialised in paintings. And awarded the Laureate Conservation-Restauration 2007, Mathilde Horlait-Dapsens Artistic Foundation for outstanding performance in the field of art. Following a master degree in Cultural Studies at the Catholic University of Louvain. Sponsored by the Inbev-Baillet Latour Fund, she then spent a year as a post-graduate Intern in Painting Conservation at the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA), Brussels. For more than ten years she has been working as a practising conservator/restorer in the private and the museum sector, both national as international.
